The No.8 Bond Intense Moisture Mask ($28; sephora.com) is a new launch from Olaplex, a deep conditioning, weekly treatment for all hair types. It's a super thick, moisturizing hair mask that has a rather dense texture, but feels lightweight. It doesn’t weigh hair down at all which is something I look for in every haircare product I use since my scalp tends to get very oily. I use it like any other hair mask, post shampoo, leaving it on for about 5-10 minutes and washing it off. It washes off easily and I try to keep it from mid length to the ends. I love the scent of this one - not overwhelming and doesn’t linger on for too long. I found this mask to be very hydrating and fabulous for my dry ends. It also helped control my frizz greatly and my curls looked better defined when air dried. A little bit goes a really long way with this one and I like it as a weekly treat. Overall, absolutely would recommend this if you are looking for an intensely moisturizing hair mask. Olaplex recommends using this with the whole line and while I haven’t tried anything other than the Hair Perfecter yet, I can definitely say that this mask has made me curious about the entire line.
