Gucci’s Rouge A Levres Voile Lipsticks have one of the best sheer lipstick formulas. They are sheer, without being overly so and the color is very buildable. The packaging is gorgeous and the formula is lightweight and balmy. They Met In Argentina ($47; gucci.com) is a very pretty pinky coral. On me, it looks more like a peachy coral and the color is just the right mix of warm and cool tones. It's a low maintenance lipstick that you can just swipe and go. The formula is quite moisturizing and has a nice sheen to it that isn’t quite glossy, but not a satin either. The pigmentation varies for each shade and this one isn’t too sheer, but also not pigment packed. I don’t normally use a lipliner with this, but using one adds a lot of definition to the color. The staying power is average, around 3-4 hours like most sheer lipsticks after which it has to be reapplied. Overall, a truly luxurious lipstick that comes packaged beautifully and in an easy to wear color range and formula.
