Curlsmith is a brand new to me and as someone with wavy hair, I recently tried their Essential Moisture Cleanser ($28;ulta.com), Conditioner ($26; ulta.com) and Effortless Waves Wave Enhancing Spray ($28; ulta.com). The Essential Moisture Cleanser is a mild cleanser that cleanses thoroughly without stripping hair of its natural oils. It is sulfate free, but does lather up well and gets my hair feeling clean without drying my scalp. It is quite a concentrated formula, so a little goes a really long way. If you tend to use this regularly, I’d recommend a clarifying shampoo to use once a week, just like you would with most moisturizing shampoos. It is a lightweight conditioner that helps detangle and adds moisture without weighing hair down. It washes off easily and is great for anyone with wavy or curly hair wanting to not lose the natural wave pattern. The shampoo and conditioner are quite strongly scented, which is something to keep in mind if you have a sensitive nose. The Effortless Waves Wave Enhancing Spray is a lightweight spray that works on wet hair before styling or even while air drying. It is alcohol free and helps control frizz without making hair oily or greasy. It's a great product that is nice to use on wavy hair and good for days when you just want effortless style without blow drying and works best on moderately wavy, slightly fine hair.
