BUXOM’s Kiss Up Mini Full On Plumping Lip Gloss Set ($30; sephora.com) and Player Eye Kit ($30; ulta.com) are new for the holidays. The Kiss Up Full On Lip Plumping Gloss Kit features four mini-sizes of the Lip Plumping Polishes, a plumping gloss that subtly plumps with a minty tingle. These glosses are quite long wearing since they are slightly sticky, but they are very moisturizing and the light reflecting fine shimmer adds a gorgeous shine. I’m a longtime fan of these and the formula is great. I also love layering the lighter colors on top of a matte lipstick or with just some liner for a wearable nude lip.
Player Eye Kit is another great two piece kit with a liner and mascara duo that come in full sizes. The Power Line Long Lasting Eye Liner in LBD is a slant tip liner that is pigmented and creamy. It is easy to use once you get the hang of it. I found it to be quite long wearing and the BUXOM Lash Volumizing Mascara is a thickening and separating mascara that is great for anyone with short stubby lashes like mine. I’d definitely recommend these two kits from BUXOM for anyone who loves their makeup and they also make for great stocking stuffers.
