The Beachwaver Coast Pro Ceramic Flat Iron ($149; beachwaver.com) is one of my current favorite tools that I have on rotation when I want sleek, straight styles. I’ve tried their best selling B1 1- Inch Rotating Curling Iron before and loved the soft curls I got from it. The Coast Pro Ceramic Flat Iron is a 1 Inch Titanium Iron that is super lightweight and easy to use. I like how the barrel has a slight curve making it ideal for soft waves or straight sleek looks. The LCD temperature display and 30 minute auto shut off feature make it ideal for beginners to use as well. This is described as one that curly, wavy and coarse hair types can use and I agree. I have frizzy hair that is fine and I had to turn down the heat below 400 F so as to not get very hot. I also love how rapidly it heats up and evenly distributes heat adding a natural shine and sleek look to my hair. This specific print is a limited edition and currently on sale at beachwaver, but works just like the regular version. It is dual voltage, which makes it perfect for travel as well since the smaller, lightweight size is already travel friendly.
