Five new to me brands with quick reviews and thoughts!
Yes Day is a newer product line focussed on young, teen skin so their formulas are gentle and effective. The Inner Beam Hydration Mist ($19; yesdayworld.com) is a refreshingly hydrating skincare mist that is perfect for a quick midday moisture boost. The Sweetie Lip Mask in Vanilla Glaze ($15; yesdayworld.com) is a vanilla scented, hydrating lip balm that also doubles up as a clear gloss. Both these are travel friendly l and great to have on the go!
PreReq is a clean, refillable skincare brand targeted at pre teens and teens. The all natural formula is clean and enriched with with calming ingredients for the skin. The Reset Mode Deo Multi Mist ($19.99; https://prereqcare.com/) and the Giving Me Life Hydro Mist ($19.99; https://prereqcare.com/)are both perfect for young, sensitive skin. While not completely fragrance free, they are mildly scented and safe for sensitive skin. The Reset Mode Deo Mist is alumnium-free and both formulas come in refillable sizes as well.
Guru Nanda is a fabulous dental care brand that I've been loving lately. The Advanced Water Flosser 2.0 is a nice choice for an everyday at home clean in between visits. It comes with three speed settings and is very easy to use and clean. Their fabulous line of mouthwashes are something I'd highly recommend from the brand for anyone who likes their dental care formulas to be clean. The Dual Barrel Whitening Mouthwash ($9.99; gurunanda.com) especially is super refreshing and is loaded with essential oils and natural whiteners for great overall dental health. I also absolutely love the Oil Pulling Rinse ($9.99; target.com) which is to be used a minute before brushing for a cleaner brushing experience and overall dental hygeine! The brand also makes amazing Cinnamon Infused Expandable Flosses ($1.50; gurunanda.com) and Whitening Strips ($9.99; ulta.com) that do not leave teeth feeling sensitive afterwards.
Small Wonder makes unique powder to lather haircare that activates with water. The Shampoo ($38; amazon.com) cleanses without stripping and the Conditioner ($38; amazon.com) helps lightly detangle. If you have very thick hair, you would need a hair mask since this leaves hair feeling squeaky clean. The formula is infused with Marula Oil, Jojoba, Argan oil and Kaolin Clay to help absorb excess oil while hydrating hair. Less product waste and comes in travel sizes too!
TONE by amp ($10 - $20; target.com) is a new men's selfcare brand that just launched at target. Mineral Spring is a fresh scent, slightly on the stronger side and comes in a body wash, deo mist and aluminium-free deodorant stick. Its a budget friendly bodycare brand that comes in fresh scents with clean ingredients.
