NEEN Makeup Discoveries & Quick Reviews

NEEN is a new brand that I discovered recently. Their makeup line features everything for eyes, face and lips in clean formulas that are easy to work with and effortless to swipe on the go. The compacts are refillable and also made of silicone that is lightweight and less prone to breakage.

The Going Rouge Multi Purpose Lip & Cheek Blush ($32; shop.nordstrom.com) is a gorgeous cream blush with a nice blendable formula that blends with fingers or a a dense brush. I love the very flattering shades and the dewy-ish satin finish. These are colors I'd wear everyday and a little bit goes a really long way with the pigmentation.

The Pretty Shady Pressed Pigment Trios ($39; shop.nordstrom.com) are very smooth, creamy and come in gorgeous colors. The shades don't have much fallout for the most part and they last really well over primer. I also like how they are forgiving on drier lids and the shimmer isn't chunky and translates to a really nice metallic sheen on the lids. They are also talc-free.

The Glisten Up Creamy Lip Gloss ($28; shop.nordstrom.com) is a very lightweight, yet pigmented lip gloss. They feel more like a thicker balm, but not very sticky. I love the selection of neutrals in this line and how easily they pair up with the other eye and cheek products.

The Pretty Extra Mascara ($15; shop.nordstrom.com) is one of my favorites from the line. Its a lengthening, separating mascara that adds a natural looking curl to my lashes. It doesn't make my lashes look crunchy or flaky. The mascara also comes as a mini and is something I'd recommend if you like long, separated lashes.The Side Eye Eyliner ($22; shop.nordstrom.com) is a smooth, smudgeable eyeliner for the lash and water line. The pigmentation is great and this is more of an eye kohl that I'd recommend if you like a quick smokey eye or a pop of color along the lash lines.The Pretty Shiny Cream Highlighter ($29; shop.nordstrom.com) is a cream highlighter with a super smooth texture. I love how nicely it blends and mixes with other cream products., There's no visible shimmer and it looks more like a jelly-like wet sheen. I do recommend layering with powder products for better longevity.
