New Product Discoveries From New To Me Brands

New Product Discoveries From To Me Brands

J.R Liggett’s is brand new to me. I recently tried their Solid Shampoo Bars and the Lip Butters. The Shampoo Bars ($8.49; jrliggett.com) are amazing with a short, clean ingredients list. They foam up well and cleanse beautifully without drying hair and scalp. I do follow up with conditioner afterwards. I’ve also gotten a ton of washes out of this solid bar and would definitely recommend it if you are looking for a zero waste shampoo bar with a great formula. The Lip Butter ($5.99 each; jrliggett.com) is also a no nonsense clean lip butter to use everyday and I have one in my bag as well. The formula isn't heavy or waxy and helps moisturize lips throughout the day.

Made By Dentists makes great oral care for kids and adults. The Rechargeable Electric Toothbrush for Kids (14.99; target.com) and Adults ($99.99; madebydentists.com) is a great electric toothbrush with soft bristles for a quick clean. They both come with an auto-shut off timer, a charger and do the job well. It is easy to use, for both adults and kids. The brush heads are replaceable as well and the starter kit comes with refills.

The Norie Kimchii Cleanser ($20; amazon.com) is an everyday cleanser that works more as a second cleanser on normal skin types. Its a clear gel that doesn't foam up too much and doesn't strip skin of moisture. The formula is very gentle too and I follow up with a moisturizer.

HiBar ($12.99 each; target.com) is a brand I recently discovered and I love their solid shampoos and conditioners. The bars do tend to run out quicker than other solid shampoos I have tried but they cleanse beautifully and leave my hair feeling soft and balanced. The conditioner is great to detangle and although not very deeply moisturizing, they are great for light moisture and last longer than the shampoo bars.

Current Favorite Top 5 From Pat McGrath Labs

Some of my current favorite, top 5 products from Pat McGrath Labs!

Top 5 Pat McGrath Labs Products Review, Photos, Swatches

Divine Blush: Legendary Glow Color Balm ($29; sephora.com) is probably one of my most used cream blushes that comes in a super convenient stick form. I love how effortlessly it blends and looks dewy, but not greasy. Forbidden Fleur is a great color for medium-dark skin tones and has just the right amount of pigment.

The FetishEyes Lengthening Mascara ($34; sephora.com) is a great mascara for length and volume. It has a slightly thicker brush and helps coat lashes without weighing them down. My short stubby lashes look natural but not clumpy and this has been my go to mascara along with the Le Volume de Chanel for thicker lashes.

The Lust Lip Gloss ($29; sephora.com) is a really nice gloss that can be worn by itself or layered on. The texture is a tad thick, but that also makes it longwearing compared to most thinner glasses. The stickiness isn’t a lot and the colors are super gorgeous. The shimmer in some of these are very finely milled and add a lot of dimension.

The ChromaLuxe Artistry Pigments ($35; patmcgrathlabs.com) are a new addition to the line that is a shimmery, metallic pigment packed eyeshadow. The creamy finish is amazing when patted on to the lids with fingers or a flat brush. I miss the EYEdolls eye shadow singles from the brand that was long discontinued and these are a good replacement for now. I also love how the intensity of the pigment can be layered or toned down for a subtle or intense look.

The Permagel Eyeliner Pencil ($29; sephora.com) is a creamy, easy to blend and smoke out liner. It is longwearing and is easy to use on both the lash and water lines. Blitz Blue, Blitz Brown and Xtreme Black are my favorites that I use on rotation a lot.

Essie Odd Squad And Blushin' And Crushin' Spring Collections

Blushin’ & Crushin’ ($10 each; ulta.com) and Odd Squad ($10 each; ulta.com) are two new collections from essie for Spring. The colors here are gorgeous and look fabulous on most skin tones. These are very wearable pastels in the beautiful essie formula and brush that I love. Odd Squad is a mix of 6 creams in a glossy, opaque finish. The colors are interesting and something I can wear all through the year. The formula was great and went on smooth without any bubbling. Never Basic and Mismatch to Match are my top favorites from this collection.

Blushin’ & Crushin’ is a mix of shimmer and creme finishes in perfect spring colors. I absolutely loved the combination of colors. The colors were mostly one coaters, I used two coats for opacity. I can’t pick a favorite from here since I love them all. They are colors I gravitate towards most of the time. Overall, such gorgeous collections with a fabulous formula!
