MAC Lustre Lipstick in Hug Me

I've never liked the idea of totally 'nude' lips that make me look sick, pale and corpse-y. I like my nudes to a add a bit of warmth to my face which is why I always tend to choose my nudes with a slight pink undertone and 'Hug Me' totally fits the bill.

MAC describes Hug Me as a Flesh Pink which is perfect. It looks quite brown in the tube but turns up to be a light, pinky brown on my pigmented lips. The shine in the Lustre finish keeps it from looking too flat and blah. This is one of those lipsticks that would work well on all skin tones. It's one of the most natural looking, nude lipsticks I've ever tried that does not wash me out or erase my lips completely. This would be my top pick to pair with a killer smokey eye and I consider this as work-safe too!

    Pretty! I was thinking about picking this one up, but picked up Freckletone instead; the peachy color of that one suits me better than this pink, I think, but this looks great on you :)

    Looks really really good, I agree with you on the nude polishes that make us look sick! My favorite would be korres "nude" , it's creamy and not too pale!
