NARS Blush in Lovejoy - Review, Photos & Swatches

Lovejoy ($28), described by NARS as a 'bronzed rose', is one of my top picks that I'd recommend for medium/dark skin tones. It has very finely milled shimmer that translates to a sheen when on the cheeks and adds a subtle, golden glow!

Like most NARS blushes, this one too is loaded with pigment and fairly good to work with in terms of texture, when used with a stippling brush. I do tend to stay away from shimmery blushes, but there's something about the shimmer in Lovejoy that makes it more wearable without the actual shimmer showing up on the cheeks. The texture is silky with an average amount of fall-out. Its a little more easy to work with on medium/dark skin tones and effortless to be used anytime of the year. I'm pretty sure it looks just as good in the summer, when worn as a subtle wash on the cheeks, as it does in the winter. The color is very buildable and lasts all day on me!

Overall, a fantastic blush that flatters a variety of skin tones. Lovejoy can look more bronzy or plummy depending on how light or intense you apply it and doesn't enhance large pores inspite of the shimmer. Absolutely recommend it if you are on the lookout for a blush that adds a little bit of warmth and a subtle glow in a very natural way!

Have you tried the NARS Powder Blush in Lovejoy?
