L'Occitane Shea Butter Honey Whipped Body Cream

The Shea Butter Honey Whipped Body Cream ($22) is a limited-edition, nourishing body cream launched as part of the new Shea Butter & Honey Range from L'Occitane. The Body Cream is enriched with the goodness of honey, 10 % shea and quite a few natural extracts in a lovely whipped texture.

Packaged in a light-weight tin, the whipped cream feels incredibly light and super soft. The texture spreads easily and absorbs instantly. Although light, it does help moisturize dry skin very well and the honey infusion helps retain moisture for a good 7-8 hours. The honey scent is quite strong and lingers on for a long time. I think the smell is amazing, but I can see how a lot of you might think its a tad too much. It also doubles up as a great hand cream since it doesn't leave a tacky residue behind.

Overall, I love the whipped texture and the no-residue formula, inspite of it being the 10% Shea Butter variety.  I do have to re-apply after a few hours, but since it sinks in pretty fast, I don't mind having to slather on a little more. The tin is a good size and will last a while - I have been using it for a couple of weeks and there's still a lot more product left. I wish L'Occitane makes more of these whipped textures as they are something I would love to use year round! It is limited-edition, so I'll be stocking up on a tub or two before it sells out.
