Dior Addict Fluid Stick in Mirage

I hadn't picked up Dior's new Addict Fluid Sticks ($35; dior.com) for quite sometime now, partly because of the lack of very many neutrals and how very close the bright shades were to one another. I swatched Mirage recently in store, and couldn't stop myself from picking up this gorgeous peachy coral.

Mirage does go on quite similar to how it looks in the tube. The color looks quite saturated in one swipe, but can be toned down or sheered out as the product doesn't actually set. The texture while a tad sticky at first, wears comfortably like any other gloss and feels lightweight too. I did find a slightly strong, chemically scent and a cooling sensation upon applying, both of which fade almost immediately. Mirage doesn't have any shimmer or glitter and I like to sheer the color just a tad so it looks more coral than straight up peach on my pigmented lips. I absolutely love the applicator - its the best to use with this kind of a lightweight, liquid lipstick texture. Mirage lasted about 4 hours on me and the slight tackiness in the texture makes it a little more longwearing than a regular gloss. Overall, I love it, and would love to see Dior make more nude/light pink shades of these Fluid Sticks since I don't always reach out to super bright colors, especially if they lean more towards the red/dark pink end of the spectrum.

Have you tried any of the Dior Addict Fluid Sticks yet?
