Dior’s Vernis Hypnotic #918 ($27; dior.com) is another beautiful, dark creme polish that was launched when Dior re-vamped their nail polish line to the newer gel-like formula. Hypnotic is a dark, dirty brown with a tinge of plum.
The formula was fantastic on this one and Dior polishes have the best brush on the market. The color went on a bit sheer on the first coat, but leveled itself to perfection with the next. Its not the most glossiest, so I would definitely recommend a good top coat. The wear time was decent - about 3 days before I saw any major chipping. Hypnotic is similar, but warmer and a bit murky when compared to Nuit from Dior, which is another one of my favorite polishes. The color does look a tad darker and a bit more brown on the nails compared to how it does in the bottle, but definitely a good one to try out if you like a good vampy polish!
