Fresh always has some really nice value sets for the holiday season with a good mix of skin and body care. The Fresh Skincare Starters Kit ($35; shop.nordstrom.com) is a mix of three of Fresh’ best sellers - the Soy face Cleanser, a full size of the Sugar Rose Tinted Lip Treatment and a deluxe size of the Lotus Youth Preserve Cream.
The Soy Face Cleanser is a gentle cleanser for all skin types, mildly foaming and good as a skin cleanser that doesn’t strip skin. I do like to follow it up with a good moisturizer and the Lotus Youth Preserve Cream is great for that. It has a good consistency that absorbs quickly and keeps skin soft. The scent is quite nice and a little goes a long way with this consistency. I could see it working for all skin types and it balances dry spots really well without making the rest of the face oily or greasy. The Fresh Rose Lip Treatment is a full size and a nice tint of a reddish pink that is a swipe and go kind of color. The deluxe size balms from Fresh tend to break a little from the softness, but the full sizes tend to do well even in warmer weather. Its a nice tinted lip balm with a lemon cookie scent that is sheer, but easy to just throw into your handbag. Overall, the Fresh Skincare Starters Kit is a great value and a nice way to try a few things from Fresh. Everything comes beautifully packaged in a foldable clutch too which is great for travel and holds a lot more than just these three products!
