The Show Beauty Premiere Finishing Spray ($35; sephora.com) and Living Proof Flex Shaping Hairspray ($25; sephora.com) are two hair sprays that I’m loving for my thin, frizzy hair. Both promise non-crunchy, lightweight hold, adding volume and softness. The Living Proof Flex Shaping Hairspray, is one to be used on damp or dry hair to set or finish any look. It is flake free, doesn’t leave hair too crunchy, and sets everything in place without turning hair dry. It leaves hair in a touchable state, quite soft and helps hold curls well without making them look too stiff. There’s a little bit of texture going on with this one, but its definitely not as heavy as regular hair sprays. The Show Beauty Premiere Finishing Spray is quite lightweight too, just a little more of a stronger hold than the Living Proof, yet very workable on softer hair textures and keeps hair looking shiny longer. It adds a lot of volume and lift and keeps styles in place longer. Both products have a slightly strong scent that can linger on for a bit, but that apart, they are both great hairsprays to try if you are looking for something lightweight and don’t like the crunchiness from traditional hairsprays.
