The Beachwaver Co. Beachwaver S1.25 Ceramic Rotating Curling Iron

The Beachwaver S1.25 Ceramic Rotating Curling Iron ($129; ulta.com) is a fairly new launch, that comes with a larger barrel, created for women with medium-longer length hair. It has a heat range of 290 - 410 degrees and a 1.25inch barrel with quick heat settings. The curler also rotates as you curl, giving the most goegoeus waves that also speeds up the process. There’s also an arrow control that helps the barrel rotate on either directions and a fast/slow setting to control the barrel rotation.

Its quite lightweight and easy to store. It took me a while to completely get the hang of the rotating barrel, but once I did, it was fairly easy to use. I do have pretty short hair at the moment, I’d say short-medium length, but I still found the S1.25 quite easy to use and effective on my shorter length, although the curls were subtle and more wavy on this length. My hair is quite fine too and I love how much shine and smoothness it adds to my hair. The curls fall into place beautifully and the slightly larger barrel helps add a bit of volume too. If you have hair past shoulders, you could get even more beachy, voluminous waves with this one. Overall, its a great curling wand to have if your hair is on the moderately thick, leaning towards the finer side. Also nice to have if you want very natural looking curls that look more wavy than too twisted or curly.
