The Biotec Energizing Skincare System is a new skincare line from ELEMIS, a three piece skincare range that features a Skin Energizing Cleanser ($63.50 ; elemis.com), Skin Energizing Day Cream ($120 ; elemis.com) and Night Cream($136 ; elemis.com). The Cleanser is gel based, but very non drying and quite gentle on my sensitive skin. Its very mildly foaming and is good as a second cleanser. The day cream is a two part cream/serum that helps energize and soothe skin, while keeping it soft and hydrated. Its a fast absorbing cream that is perfect for the day time and instantly plumps skin up and brightens really well. The night cream is a tad more richer than the day cream, yet quick to absorb and leaves skin very hydrated by morning, with no greasy residue. The day cream is also a fabulous one to layer underneath makeup too. All products in this collection also have a slightly strong, sort of a musky scent, which I quite like. Overall, if you have dry, aging skin and want a nice radiance boost and added plumpness, the Elemis Biotec Collection is worth a try!
