The AmorePacific Future Response Age Defense Serum ($160; sephora.com) is a new serum I’ve recently been testing out as part of my skincare routine. It comes packaged in a luxurious pump bottle and is a concentrated blend of green tea and pine mushrooms that protect skin from environmental and lifestyle aggressors that cause visible signs of premature skin aging.
The texture is really lovely and fast absorbing. It does have a certain slip to it, probably from the dimethicone listed pretty high up in the ingredients list, but that also makes it a nice serum to layer under makeup. The scent is not as strong as in the other AmorePacific Skincare, but it sure lingers for a little bit. I used about a pump and a little more for my face and neck. It adds a nice layer of hydration that I was able to skip using moisturizer on top, but come the colder months, I would need something extra. It instantly smoothens and evens out skin tone, making it look brighter and plump. I currently use this about 2-3 times in a week since I have a couple of other serums on rotation. Overall, its a nice anti-aging serum, definitely adds some glow, bounce and radiance back to dull skin, especially if you have unevenness and sun damage. If your skin leans extremely dry, you would need something richer on top since this is quite lightweight by itself.
