Marc Jacobs Holiday 2016 | About Last Night Style Eye Con No.20 Eye Shadow Palette, About Lash Night 3-Piece Mascara and Eyeliner Collection

Two gorgeous pieces I’m loving from the Marc Jacobs Holiday'16 lineup are the About Last Night Style Eye Con No.20 Eye Shadow Palette ($99; sephora.com) and the About Lash Night 3-Piece Mascara and Eyeliner Collection ($36; sephora.com). About Last Night is a beautiful palette with an array of shades ranging from everyday neutrals to mattes and shimmery textures. The packaging & design of the palette is beautiful and the quality of the eyeshadows are amazing - great color payoff, fabulous blendability and hardly any fallout. I’ve used the neutrals in this palette quite a lot and they wear really well even without a primer, which I almost, always forget. Overall, a fantastic palette to check out this holiday season!

About Lash Night 3-Piece Mascara and Eyeliner Collection is another great value set that comes with a full sizes of the O!Mega Lash Volumizing Mascara, Lame Noir Ultra-Glittering Mascara and a deluxe size of the Highliner Gel Eye Crayon in Blacquer. Love everything in this kit. The O! Mega Lash is a great mascara for super long, thick lashes. The Lame Noir is great to just coat the tips of your lashes, although not something I’d wear on a daily, basis, it still is nice to add a little something over your mascara. The Highliner is another great eyeliner that I love and Blacquer is a deep dark black with a nice sheen!

Elemis Superfood Facial Oil

The Superfood Facial Oil ($72; shop.nordstrom.com) is one of Elemis’ newest additions to their skincare line. Its a nourishing, hydrating, smoothing oil for dry, aging skin. It comes packaged in a small glass bottle, and I use about 2-3 drops for my face and neck. Its a very rich, yet quick absorbing oil and one that helps plump and add a lot of glow back to dull looking skin. Its a concentrated blend of plant based superfoods and has omega-rich Broccoli, Flax Seed and Daikon Radish to name a few. I love how this is a one step oil for me and doesn’t require moisturizer on top, even though my skin leans towards the drier side this time of the year. Its very hydrating, yet feels weightless and non greasy. I use it about 2-3 times a week in rotation with my other skincare and a little goes a really long way with this one.  I rub whatever is leftover onto my cuticles and it does a fabulous job of keeping them healthy looking.The scent could take some time getting used to, but that apart, I’d highly recommend this if you are looking for a hydrating, rich facial oil for the colder months ahead!

Salvatore Ferragamo Signorina in Rosso

Signorina in Rosso ($87; Exclusively at Lord & Taylor) is a new, limited edition Floriental Fruity fragrance for the Holidays from Salvatore Ferragamo. The bottle is dressed up gorgeously in glossy red, housed inside a beautiful gift box.

Signorina in Rosso is a beautiful composition with notes of Pink Pepper, Currant, Jasmine, Rose, Pana cotta, Musk and Patchouli. It has been one of my most worn perfumes this season and one of my top holiday fragrances. Its a beautiful fruity floral with a lot of sophistication that doesn’t lean too much towards the sweeter side. The Pink Pepper and Jasmine make the opening bright, energetic and rather fresh. It isn’t heady, but the Jasmine lingers on through the dry down which I love. The Musk and Patchouli keep the fragrance from turning too sweet, while the Rose adds that amazing, chic feminine touch from opening to dry down. This is probably one of the nicest rose perfumes I’ve tried so far - its simple, feminine, sophisticated and perfect for all seasons! I can’t think of a more fantastic gift for any fragrance lover!

H2O+ Beauty Luxe It Up Body Care Favorites

Luxe It Up Milk Body Care Favorites ($45 ulta.com) is a holiday bath and body kit from H20+ Beauty. I’ve tried a good few H2O plus products before and quite like their bath and body range. This kit comes with full sizes of the Milk Body Wash, a Specialty Care Hand & Nail Cream and a Milk Body Butter. I absolutely love the hand cream, both as a hand and foot cream. Its quick absorbing, smells great and is very moisturizing. The Milk Body Wash is a creamy, foaming body wash that cleanses gently without stripping. Its a generous size that I’ve been using for a while and have barely made it through half a bottle. The Milk Body Butter is nice and thick, has a clean scent like the Body Wash and is great for the winter. Overall, a great value for these three, a good way to try out the a few nice products from H2O Plus Beauty.

Algenist Genius 2016 Collection, Drop & Glow Lumizing Duo | Algenist Holiday Lineup

Algenist does some really nice skincare sets every year for the holiays and its a nice way to try out some of their skincare without having to splurge on full sizes. This year’s holiday features quite a nice selection of value sets, two of which I’ve been loving are the Genius Collection 2016 ($95; algenist.com) and the Drop & Glow Luminizing Duo ($22; algenist.com). The Genius Collection comes with deluxe sizes of the Genius Ultimate Anti Aging Melting Cleanser, Genuis Ultimate Anti Aging Cream, Genius Ultimate Anti Aging Eye Cream Genius Ultimate Anti Aging Bi-Phase Peel and the Genius Ultimate Anti Aging Vitamin C+ Serum. The Genius Cream is a fantastic moisturizer, a great anti aging one for all skin types. It has a whipped texture and a nice vanilla scent. Its perfect all through the year. I also love the Melting Cleanser for removing makeup, even though it needs a washcloth and a second cleanser for squeaky clean. The Vitamin C+ Serum and the Bi-Phase Peel are both very potent at what they do and great if you want a little exfoliation on a weekly basis. The Eye Cream is good for under makeup and for the daytime since it is super lighteright yet hydrating. 

The Drop & Glow Luminizing Duo is two of their deluxe sizes of the Luminizing Drops, Rose, a cool toned shimmery pink and Champagne a golden pearl. I like these under makeup and mixed in with bases than over them. A litle goes a really long way since they are quite a concentared formula. They are easy to blend, add a nice, lit from within glow and the shimmer doesn’t translate too much on the skin, which is nice.

10 Under $30 Holiday Gifts At Sephora

Some fabulous under $30 finds at Sephora to put on your Christmas shopping list!

First Aid Beauty FAB Delights ( $18; sephora.com) is a cute little mini First Aid Beauty set that comes with a mini tub of the First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream in Vanilla Citron and an Ultra Repair Lip Therapy in Rosy Red. The FAB Ultra Repair Cream is one of my favorites, I quite like the Vanilla Citron while the Lip Therapy in Rose Red is just a gorgeous wash of plum!

Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Beauty On The Go ($25; sephora.com) is a mini kit with two of Sol de Janeiro’s products - the bestselling Bum Bum Cream and the Brazilian Kiss Lip Butter. The Bum Bum Cream is a really lovely, gorgeous smelling body cream. I like it as a body butter and even as a hand cream. The Lip Butter is okay, its not too moisturizing, neither too drying.

Sephora Favorites Glow For It ($30; sephora.com) has been one of the best selling, best valued kits this time around. I love, love this one and the selection in here. If you like your highlighters and want a nice variety, do try this kit out! The highlighters are all fantastic sizes, the Lancome Glow Subtil especially, since its a full size and more than makes up for the value of the kit. It has been sold out for weeks now, but worth keeping an eye on!

Sephora Collection The Mini Team Rouge Cream and Rouge Shine Lipstick Set ($22; sephora.com) is another mini kit I love. The Rouge Shines are sheer and glossy while the Rouge Creams are creamy and more pigmented.

Sephora Collection Cat Nap Sleep Mask ($14; sephora.com) is a cute little mask that blocks out most of the light while you nap!

Milk Makeup Limited Edition Triple Threat Glow Set ($30; sephora.com) is a great way to try out a few of the brand’s products. The box it comes in is really nice to repurpose as an everyday lipstick tray or just to store basics like q-tips, etc. I loved the highlighter in the kit. Its a very flattering golden beige for my skintone. I have yet to try out the Face Mist and the Sunshine Oil & will update with a review on those soon!

Mistletoe ($26; sephora.com) is a special edition lipstick for the holidays from Bite Beauty’s Amuse Bouche line. Its a beautiful festive red and the formula is a satin creme that is fantastic.

Sephora Collection Shimmer Stick ($10; sephora.com) is a stick highlighter from Sephora Collection and Golden Nude is a super flattering nude for medium-dark skin tones. I also love it as a wash over

the eyes as well.

Sephora Collection Mini Sponges ($10- $20; sephora.com) .These are pretty neat to have handy for touchups.They are quite small though, so not the most quickest for the whole face, but good for things like under eye concealer etc. The Solid Brush Cleanser that comes along is one of my favorite ways to clean my makeup brushes and sponges and has been for a couple of years now. These are a really nice value!

Sephora Collection The Delicate Eyeshadow Palette ($10; sephora.com) is an eyeshadow palette that just launched as a Black Friday exclusive. The color selection is great if you are a neutral lover and the quality is amazing too. Its a steal for the price!

Sephora Collection Objects Of My Perfection Bag ($20; sephora.com)is a new makeup bag that looks small, but is quite roomy and fits a ton of stuff. I can never have enough makeup bags. The design is minimalistic and easy to repurpose as a clutch.
