The Power Rescue Masque Trio ($59; dermalogica.com) is a new holiday kit from Dermalogica with three of their awesome face masks. The kit comes with a Charcoal Rescue Masque, Multivitamin Power Recovery Masque and a Skin Hydrating Masque. The Charcoal Rescue Masque is a very potent mask that unclogs congested skin and gets all the gunk out. I have pretty sensitive skin and from my experience, I wouldn’t recommend leaving longer than the said 7-10 minutes. Its a very powerful detox mask that has teeny tiny scrubby bits that also help physically exfoliate.
The Multivitamin Power Recovery Masque is a gel-cream mask that helps if you have dull skin, or aging skin thats in need of a radiance boost. Its a good one for all skin types and adds a nice glow back to stressed out, tired looking skin.
The Skin Hydrating Masque is like a rich dose of moisturizer for dry, dehydrated skin. Its a lovely mask for the winter and perfect for drier skin types. Its a cooling gel mask that can be left on for about 15 minutes or as an overnight mask, though I prefer the 15 minute treatment since it can get a tad sticky. Its a nice mask to follow up after the Charcoal Rescue Mask! Overall, a lovely multitasking gift set for any skincare lover or if you want to get a nice sampling of Dermalogica’s masks!
