The Rouge Volupte Tint-in-Balm ($34; sephora.com) is a new launch from YSL, a sheer, glossy balm tint, possibly replacing the Sheer Candy range. The colors are rather sheer, needing a few swipes before the tint shows up. The packaging, like everything else from YSL, is stunning. Dream Me Nude is a nice pink, almost a mauve pink that looks like a glossy mid tone pink on the lips. This one too has a sweet watermelon scent that fades pretty quickly and isn’t too cloying. Like most sheer lipsticks, I get about a couple of hours from this and it is neither drying nor overly moisturizing, but wears pretty comfortably with a super lightweight balmy feel. Overall, if you like sheer, glossy lipsticks with a hint of color and love the YSL packaging, I’d definitely recommend this range! If you are looking for a little more of a pop of color without it being too bold, check the deeper shades out.
