Laura Mercier’s Eye Kohl in Stormy Grey ($25; sephora.com) is a gorgeous smoky charcoal grey that is fabulous for an effortless smokey eye or as an everyday alternative to basic black liner. I love the Laura Mercier kohl formula - its smooth, not overly creamy and since it doesn’t set, its smudgable and super easy to work with. Stormy Grey has a little bit of a sheen, yet doesn’t have visible shimmer. I've used it on my lash and waterline with no problems with irritation or sensitivity. If you are looking for a super long wearing, extremely creamy textured kohl, this might not be it, but if you like a soft, smudgy liner and love a good smokey grey, this one is perfect!
