A couple of new tools that I’ve been testing out recently from BaByliss Pro and Pro Beauty Tools!
The Babyliss Pro Rapido ($189.95; ulta.com) is quite a powerful, medium sized hairdryer. It is very lightweight and less noisy compared to some others I have used. It comes with a storage pouch and two nozzle attachments. I also liked how quickly it dried by hair and how very easy it is to get the hang of from the very first time. There’s a generous 9 inch cord, a removable noise reducing filer and also 6 heat/speed settings. Overall, a great dryer for anyone hard pressed for time!
Pro Beauty Tools Shine Enhancing Straightener ($34.99; target.com) is a 1 inch straightener with shine enhancing ceramic plates. It heats upto 450 F and heats up consistently. There is a beep indictor that beeps when switched on/off and also when the desired temperature is reached. I tend to use my straighteners for adding in waves/curls as well, but this is better suited for straighter styles. Its a good tool, but I wish it took care of the tiny flyways better since I did have a teeny bit of static after styling.
