Elemis’ new Superfood Skincare is a 100% vegan-friendly range packed with Supergreen and Supergrain Complexes rich in anti-oxidants and omega fatty acids. Its a very nourishing range and the formulas feel luxurious. The collection includes a Superfood Facial Wash ($25; elemis.com), Day Cream ($45; elemis.com), Night Cream ($55; elemis.com) and Elemis’ best selling Superfood Facial Oil ($55; elemis.com). The Facial Wash is a very gentle, lightly foaming wash that I like on no makeup days or after cleansing my makeup off. It isn’t stripping and balances my skin well. The Superfood Day Cream is a fabulous light day cream that works under makeup too and keeps my dry skin feeling comfortable all day. Its fast absorbing and doesn’t feel one bit greasy. The Superfood Night Cream is very similar, just a tad more nourishing and makes my skin look very healthy by morning. The Superfood Facial Oil is a dry oil that can be used on its own or layered with moisturizers. Its a quick absorbing oil and pairs very well with both the Superfood day and night cream. These products do have a slight, herbal scent to them and I’d highly recommend the range for anyone with dry, lackluster skin and in need of a good moisturizing, brightening range.
