Algenist’s POWER Advanced Wrinkle Fighter Moisturizer ($85; sephora.com) is one of my current moisturizers in rotation. Its an anti aging moisturizer that helps visibly improve skin texture and adds moisture and and elasticity to skin. It comes packaged in a heavy 2oz jar and a little goes a really long way with this one. It has an almost soft, whipped consistency and no scent as far as my nose can detect. Its a very silky cream that goes on smooth, but takes a while to completely sink in. I think this is a good one for anyone with very dry skin, but if you lean towards the normal-oily side of the spectrum it could make you a tad more oily through the day. I have very dry skin and my skin drinks it up. It feels great going on and is nice under makeup too. I also have seen that some of my very fine lines on my forehead look filled in with continued use and skin looks overall plump on days I use this. I do switch this up with a few other moisturizers since it can get a tad too rich for me some days. That apart, its a pricey, but good moisturizer for anyone in their 30’s wanting a good daytime moisturizer to combat dryness and get more of a refined skin texture.
