The Uplifting One is a new volumizing Shampoo-Conditioner ($30 each; ulta.com) duo from Frederic Fekkai. The Shampoo is sulfate free, lathers and cleanses easily, while the Conditioner is lightweight and very smoothening. I do think that a little goes a really long way with the shampoo and it cleanses really well with a good added root lift, but it can cause a teeny tiny bit of a buildup if not paired with a clarifying shampoo once in a few washes. The conditioner is lightweight, very detangling and doesn’t feel like it is weighing my hair down too much. The scent of this range is amazing and the packaging is very sleek too. If you have fine hair, or flat roots, this is a good duo. I would recommend a clarifying shampoo once a week if you have roots that can get oily with moisturizing shampoos.
