Kaja Beauty’s Mood Balms ($14; sephora.com) are color changing, lip moisturizers with a sheer, but buildable pigmentation.They come in four shades and I love the formula of these. I tried three of the four shades - Blackout which goes from a sheer plum to a super bright pink, First Thing, which looks orange in the tube, but ends up looking more of a peachy coral on the lips and my favorite, Twilight, which goes from a light blue to a subtle pink. These are swipe and go balms that require no effort at all and they are fairly moisturizing.I think the color will go brighter or look more subtle depending on each person’s body temperature. On me, these were almost all on the brighter side and got brighter through the day. I’d definitely recommend them if you like easy to use, sheer balms with a nice pop of color and gloss.
