Currently loving these two hair masks from Alterna and Maui Moisture. One is great if you are on a budget and the other is a nice little splurge if you like luxury haircare. They’re both amazing for fine, dry, frizzy hair, especially during this time of the year. Maui Moisture’s Heal & Hydrate + Shea Butter Hair Mask ($8.99; ulta.com) is a very affordable mask that is silicone-free, yet very hydrating, not too greasy and washes off easily. Its a tad thick too, so a little goes a really long way. The Alterna Caviar Anti-Aging Restructuring Bond Repair Masque (($45; sephora.com) is fabulous too and feels luxurious, super nourishing and is a great treat for once or twice a week. This one too washes off easily and does not weigh my hair down. Both these masks smell amazing and I especially like to use them on days when I use a clarifying shampoo, to add moisture back.
