Spring In Your Step ($8.99; Target.com) is a new collection from Essie featuring pastels in metallic and creme finishes. The polishes were consistent formula wise and went on smooth, opaque with no bubbling. The shimmers that runs through some of them were very fine and added a little eye catching duo chrome effect to the polishes, while the cremes were the classic essie formula, being completely opaque in two coats. You could even get away with one coat for some of the shades. I’m loving the selection of pastels and nudes in this collection. As someone with medium-dark skin tone, these are some pastels that look flattering against my skin tone and don’t lean towards looking too pale. While I love all of them, my top three favorites are Spring In Your Step, Rainwear Don’t Care and Make A Splash!
