The Juice Beauty Stem Cellular Anti-Wrinkle Retinol Overnight Serum ( $72; ulta.com) is something I’ve been using on rotation in my skincare routine the past few weeks. Its a gentle, plant based, bio retinol in a clean formula that can be used everyday to minimize signs of aging. The formula also features moisturizing ingredients like jojoba, coconut and shea butters. As with any new retinol, I started using it about three times a week, moving into every other day. The packaging is fantastic and ensures there’s no contamination and minimal air exposure. It does have a slight, zesty citrus scent that I love, but is something to keep in mind if you are sensitive to fragrances in your skincare. I love how gentle this formula is - I haven’t had any allergic reactions, peeling or dryness unlike other retinols I have tried. I also have noticed an improvement in some areas of my face that are usually more dry this time of the year and also evenness in texture and dark spots. Overall, a fantastic formula to try if you have sensitive/dry skin or if you are just starting out with your retinol journey and want something that is gentle and clean, yet effective!
