Haircare Finds Under $25 From L'Oreal, Rhyme & Reason And Better Natured

A quick roundup of some of my favorite hair care products that I’ve been currently testing out!

Haircare Finds Under $25 From L'Oreal, Rhyme & Reason And Better Natured

The L’Oreal Elvive Dream Lengths haircare range recently added a couple of new products to their line. The Dream Lengths 8 Second Wonder Water ($8.99; target.com) is a hair rinse that is to be used after shampoo and conditioner that makes hair super soft, detangeld and controls frizz. What I liked the most about this one was the amount of shine it gave my hair without weighing it down and it works in 8 seconds to add moisture and transform hair.

The Dream Lengths Frizz Killer Serum ($5.99; target.com) is a lightweight, slightly thin serum that helps style hair, protect from heat damage and adds shine. When used along with the Dream Lengths 8 Second Wonder Water, it makes hair super soft and manageable reducing static and frizz. I would recommend this more for fine or medium-fine hair than thicker hair.

The Total Repair 5 Power Restore Multi-Use Treatment ($9.99; target.com) is another great product from L’oreal that is a deep conditioning weekly treatment for dry hair and ends. I think it's great value for money and the huge jar would last me a long time for my medium length hair. I also love how smooth and tangle free it makes my hair. I would recommend going light handed with this one as it can weigh very fine hair down, but it is fantastic for thicker, very frizzy hair. It can be used as a leave on or as a mask, but I much prefer using it as a rinse off mask.

Rhyme & Reason is a haircare line new to me and I recently tried their Nourish & Gloss Shampoo and Conditioner ($8.99; target.com) duo. I am very impressed by both these products and think they are fantastic for the price. The shampoo is a good, balancing shampoo for someone like me with an oily scalp and drier ends. It cleanses beautifully without leaving any kind of a residue behind. The conditioner is lightweight, detangles nicely and works on my fine but frizzy ends. The scent isn't too strong and doesn’t linger for a long time and the formula is nice for someone with an oily scalp. While I cannot speak for all the products in this range, the Nourish and Gloss line is definitely worth trying out!

Better Natured is also a brand new to me and their Moisture Replenishing Masque ($22; betternatured.com) is something I like to use after a clarifying shampoo. It is formulated with 97% naturally derived ingredients and helps nourish hair, making it easier to manage and style. I have this on rotation along with my other hair masks and prefer using it about once a week. It is very easy to wash off and does not weigh my hair down. I leave it on for about 3-5 minutes as suggested and while the scent can be a bit strong for some, it doesn’t linger for a long time.
