Essie’s Fall’ 21 ($9; target.com) limited edition nail polish lineup is such a gorgeous mix of jewel tones and bold creams in the most nicest formulas. The collection features six polishes, four full coverage creams and two metallic polishes. I love the mix of colors here - they are both transitional shades and perfect fall colors that can be worn all through the year. Both the cream and metallic finishes were one coaters, but two coats give a bit more of a glossy finish and they also have a wide brush that deposits color evenly without any bubbling. Star Struck A Chord has a unique purple-gold shift that looks dark enough, yet has a enough purple that would complement all skin tones. Off The Record is also a beautiful fall color that you just can’t go wrong with and Sound Check You Out is a perfect neutral for all through the year. I would recommend a good top coat for longevity, but these polishes were very glossy and smooth to apply!
