The Body Shop recently relaunched some of their body butters in travel and full sizes and also introduced a new range of body care infused with Avocado extract. I’ve always been a fan of The Body Shop’s Body Butters and these were no exception. I tried the new, vegan formula of the Shea Body Butter ($22; thebodyshop.com) and their newest Avocado Body Care range. The Shea Body Butter is a thick, but rich body butter with a comforting scent that isn't too strong. It absorbs easily for something so thick and goes on smooth. A little bit goes a really long way with this one and there’s absolutely no greasy residue or layer left behind. The Avocado Body Wash ($10; thebodyshop.com) is a creamy, foamy body wash that cleanses while moisturizing. It feels moisturizing and smooth, but also washes off easily. It's a great body wash for dry winter days or for anyone with drier skin in general. The Avocado Body Butter ($22; thebodyshop.com) is something I like to follow up with after a shower and it is as thick as the shea body butter, but just a tad less moisturizing. It is a perfect year round body butter for everyone and helps keep dry spots moisturized all day long. It also has a sweet, yet subtle scent that isn’t overwhelming.
