The Lip Perfector 2-in-1 Lip and Cheek Color Balm ($28; clarinsusa.com) is a recent launch from Clarins, a 2-in-1 balm and highlighter with a smooth, balmy texture that feels ultra comfortable on the lips. The colors have a slight hint of shimmer to them and they reflect light beautifully when worn alone or over any other lip product. The formula is enriched with Shea, Wild Mango and two mother of pearl pigments for its reflective properties and is very lightweight, but not sticky. The original Clarins Lip Perfector has been my favorite product and a staple for a long time and this one does not disappoint either. The sponge applicator is fabulous for application and helps deposit color evenly. Clarins recommends this as a cheek product as well, but I prefer it on my lips than cheeks. It does feel moisturizing on the cheeks though and can be layered underneath a powder product as well. I get average wear time out of these and love the formula for touch ups and have at least one in my bag. Overall, definitely recommend these new Lip Perfector Highlighters if you like everyday swipe and go shimmery glosses with a moisturizing formula that help keep lips soft.
