Issey Miyake L’Eau d’Issey Pivoine ($124; macys.com) is a crisp fruity floral and a year round fragrance with notes of pear, peony, raspberry and sandalwood to name a few. It's a light, airy, feminine fragrance that is a perfect floral for someone who loves playful scents without too much of sweetness. The opening is more of pear and peony with a soft, crisp scent that is great to layer as well. The dry down brings out the sandalwood and raspberry. The raspberry remains extremely subtle, while the sandalwood, which is the base note keeps it soft and creamy. I like how this isn't too sweet but nice enough to wear all through the year. The longevity is average and the bottle is beautifully crafted much like all other Issey Miyake fragrances.
