New Haircare Finds To Try This Summer!

A few new haircare finds that I’ve been trying and loving lately!

A few new haircare finds that I’ve been trying and loving lately!

Pureology Strength Cure Dream Healer Serum for Damaged Hair ($48; sephora.com) is a sleek, frizz control serum that I like to use on damp hair. It's a nice texture that helps detangle, smoothen and when used before styling, helps control flyaways nicely. I love how a little but goes a long way and it doesn’t weigh hair down.

Verb Frizz Defense 5-in-1 Smoothing Treatment Spray ($22; sephora.com) is another super lightweight serum that I absolutely love and have used so much in the past few weeks. The texture and the spray bottle are fantastic and helps with even distribution of product. The scent isn't strong and the formula is great for both air drying and styling. I’d highly recommend this spray if you have fine, yet frizzy hair like me and want something clean, lightweight and actually controls frizz on high humidity days. For the price, this is fantastic.

Kérastase Gloss Absolu Glaze Drops Anti-Frizz Hair Oil ($36. sephora.com)  is a high shine, hair oil-serum that I like to use on damp and dry hair. On damp hair, it helps quickly style hair, cutting drying time and on dry hair, it adds a high shine. I like to use it on my ends as well after styling as it keeps them looking super healthy. I love the lightweight, non-sticky texture and how nice it feels on hair and doesn’t feel greasy even after a few uses. I love the scent as well and the gorgeous dropper bottle design. Kerastase does hair oils so well and this one is no exception!

Joico Defy Damage KBOND20 Power Masque ($39; ulta.com) is a thick, super hydrating mask that I like to use a couple of times a week, instead of conditioner. It is thick, detangles nicely and leaves my hair very soft and manageable. I love hair masks that don’t weigh my fine frizzy hair down and this one is a winner!

Redken Acidic Bonding Concentrate 24/7 Night & Day Hair Serum ($45; ulta.com) is a leave-on serum that can be used during the day or at night to reverse damage and repair hair. This adds a nice shine as well and while used in the night does not leave any product on my pillows. I focus the product on my ends as well and it leaves it looking healthy and smooth with use. I like it on both dry and damp hair and would recommend it as an addition to your haircare if you tend to heat style a lot.

Living Proof Restore Shampoo/Conditioner ($34; sephora.com) is a great shampoo-conditioner duo to try for a balanced hair and scalp that helps restore damage and adds moisture. The restore range was recently revamped and the newer formula is just as good as the original. The Shampoo ($34; sephora.com) is sulfate free and cleanses without leaving my scalp greasy, while the Conditioner ($34; sephora.com) beautifully detangles and washes off clean. If you have scalp that gets oily with most shampoos, the restore range is great to try.

Mizani 25 Miracle Milk Heat Protectant Leave-In Conditioner ($26; sephora.com) is a super lightweight, milky serum spray that is great for all hair types. Its great pre-styling product and is a non-sticky, light texture that is perfect for air drying as well. Its also great for thin and wavy hair especially while air drying since it helps soften the waves, leaving hair more manageable. A few spritzes on damp hair and then letting it air dry is how I like to use this.
