Laila Eau de Parfum ($92; ulta.com) is Tocca's newest addition to their fabulous fragrance lineup. Laila is described as a sweet, sensual and decadent vanilla-amber concoction. The notes include Green Mandarin, Bergamot, Desert Rain Accord, Jasmine Nectar, Lily of the Valley, Cardamom Blossom, Toasted Vanilla, White Woods and Golden Amber. The opening is very fresh and earthy with the right mix of bergamot, green mandarin and a hint of the cardamom blossom. I also get a whiff of the lily, although it is more subtle such as to not make it too heady. The dry down brings out the gorgeous toasted vanilla, white woods and golden amber making it creamy and comforting without being too sweet. The longevity was average on this one. Although an EDP, both this and the solid fragrance lasted about 5-6 hours before fading away slowly. Overall, if you like fresh and crisp, but not too sweet, scents with a creamy dry down, Laila is worth checking out!
