NARS Re-Formulated Nail Polishes in Delos and Elbrus

NARS has recently re-formulated their Nail polish ($20; narscosmetics.com) line with 19 new colors with 24 fan favorites, a total of 43 amazing shades in a mix of cremes, shimmers and metallic finishes. The upgraded formula is designed to improve wear and strengthen nails, while the removable cap and specially designed flat and curved brush allows easy application. The polishes that were launched as part of the Phillip Lim launch were the same, newer formula and from the recent launch, I tried out Elbrus, a dark, purple plum creme and Delos a shimmery copper brown. *Press Samples

Both colors are just right for fall and are completely opaque in two coats. Elbrus was a tad easier to work with compared to Delos, which left a few brush strokes. Plus the brush on my Delos was a little splayed compared to the one on Elbrus. Both polishes dried fast and had no issues with bubbling or pooling near the cuticle, which was mostly due to the brush than my application itself. I do think the range has some amazing shades to offer and the cremes seem to be quite rich in terms of color payoff. I'll definitely be checking out more colors with Pastorale being one that is on top of my list!

Have you tried any of NARS' new, reformulated nail polishes yet?
