Blossom Eau de Parfum by Jimmy Choo ($60 for 1.3 fl.oz, $80 for 2 fl.oz, $100 for 3.3 fl.oz; sephora.com) is a new, limited edition launch this Spring, described a lively, fresh fruity floral with notes of Citrus, Red Berries, Sweet Pea, Rose, White Musk and Sandalwood. Blossom is sweeter, youthful and more of a Spring/Summer scent when compared to the Jimmy Choo signature fragrance and definitely one to put on your list of fragrances this Spring.
Blossom comes packaged in a less rounded, fuchsia faceted bottle, similar to the classic Jimmy Choo EDP. The fragrance opens up with fresh, juicy notes from the Sweet Pea, Red Berries and Citrus - the very sweet opening then turns surprisingly into something more of a fruity floral mix, which is when the Rose kicks in. The scent dries down to a soft, sweet floral with just a hint of Musk and lasts the whole day on me. Although Blossom is more of a youthful scent, the sweetness isn’t cloying or too syrupy, its done just right by adding in rose and musk which make it different from any other sweet concoction. Definitely one to check out this Spring if you are looking for a nice fruity floral with great longevity.
