KIKO Milano's Gossamer Creamy Emotion Lipstick in Pink Sand ($12; kikocosmetics.com) is an absolutely gorgeous lipstick with a great formula. The color is a lovely nude pink on my skin tone and would make for the perfect nude pink for most medium-dark skin tones, especially if you have pigmented lips. It pairs well with a smokey eye or soft neutral eyes and doesn’t wash me out like most lighter pinks. The packaging is quite nice - the lipstick clicks to open and the black and rose gold is a nice touch. The formula is a satin matte with great pigmentation and one of the best modern mattes I’ve ever tried. Its not too drying and has a beautiful, velvety feel and slip that helps the color cling on better. There’s a slightly strong candy scent to the lipstick which doesn’t bother me so much, but it can be a little too much if you aren’t a fan of fragrance in lip products. Overall, if you are looking for an affordable lipstick in a great, comfortable to wear formula, definitely check out the KIKO Gossamer Creamy Emotion Lipsticks and Pink Sand in particular if you have a tough time finding flattering nude pinks.
