Clinique Pop Glaze Sheer Lip Color + Primer ($18; sephora.com) is a fairly new addition to the Clinique Color Pop Lip Color range. Its a sheer formula with a hint of shine and color infused with a smoothing primer.
The formula is super easy to wear, comfortable and the colors are very wearable. I tried out Sugar Plum Pop and Melon Drop Pop, both of which are shades I’d gravitate towards for Spring and Summer. Its quite a weightless formula that hugs the lips and keeps them moisturized. While I can’t quite say they stay put for 8 hours, they are like any other sheer lip color and fade away after about 2-3 hours. Melon Drop Pop is a pretty coral that looks like a light wash of orange on my lips, while Sugar Plum Pop is a barely there plum. If you do like sheer colors that feel more like tinted lip balms, these are worth checking out. They are nice to have for no makeup makeup days.
