The Elemis Nourishing Omega Rich Cleansing Oil ($49; shop.nordstrom.com) is a new addition to my makeup cleansing routine. Its a rich oil and a great one step cleanser that gets rid of makeup and leaves skin balanced.
Like all cleansing oils, I like to use this on a dry face, massage it in until most of my makeup breaks down and then wash it off with the help of a warm washcloth. Its has a really nice scent and a texture that isn't too sticky or too runny. I love how nourishing it is and how easily it breaks everything down, including stubborn long wear stuff. It is very easy to emulsify & wash off too, but I always prefer the washcloth way. There’s no residue left behind and my skin doesn’t feel too dry and tight. Overall, a very nicely balancing cleansing oil that is perfect for most combination-dry skin types. I sometimes follow up with a second cleanser, but it is absolutely not needed if you don’t have too much makeup on.
