Madam C.J Walker Beauty Culture has some really nice haircare products and some great ones for wavy and curly hair. I tried out a couple of products from line - the Dream Come True Wonderful Pre Wash Protein Treatment ($32; sephora.com) and the Deep Conditioning Masque ($32; sephora.com)
Dream Come True Wonderful Pre Wash Treatment is a pre shampoo treatment, a thick balm that I like to apply about 15-20 minutes before washing my hair. It smells great and washes off without any kind of greasy residue. It can be a tad difficult to apply and can feel a tad heavy until you wash off, but if your hair needs a pampering pre shampoo treatment to use once a week, this is one to absolutely try out.
The Masque is a deep conditioner that is very thick and goes a long way with just a teeny tiny amount. Its fabulous at softening hair and keeping the frizzies away. I love to use it after a clarifying shampoo. It is a great one for all hair types. I wouldn’t combine the pre-shampoo treatment and the masque in the same day though, since my hair is quite prone to getting weighed down by most treatments, but they are amazing products to try from the brand if you are looking for moisturizing hair treatments to add some lustre and bounce back to your hair.
