Savatore Ferragamo’s Signorina In Fiore ($92 for 100ml; saksfifthavenue.com) is a new fragrance this Spring/Summer, a fabulous fresh fruity floral that is feminine, sophisticated and light. The notes include Nashi Pear Sorbet, Pomegranate, Cherry Blossom, Jasmine, White Musk and Sandalwood. I love the juicy-fruity opening that is mostly from the Pear and Cherry Blossom. The Jasmine adds a little bit of a headiness as the fragrance settles down on the skin, while the White Musk and Sandalwood add a lot of creamy softness, while keeping the fragrance from turning too cloyingly sweet. The longevity is average for an EDT since its mostly a light fragrance to start with anyways. Overall, a fabulous spring/summer scent, very youthful, yet quite sophisticated and very different from the original Signorina, which also I absolutely love.
