The Shimmer & Glow Liquid Eyeshadows ($24; sephora.com) are new from Stila that launched earlier this year. These are shimmer packed eyeshadows with a gorgeous metallic sheen. La Douce is an olive gold with a ton of eye catching shimmer. The consistency was opaque in one stroke and went on smooth without any patchiness. The color did sheer out quite a bit after blending, but did not look uneven or patchy. It does have a slightly thinner consistency for a cream, but did not manage to budge once set. I love the color, a jewel toned golden olive that doesn’t look too green, hence wearable. Overall, going by the formula of this one, I would recommend trying at least a shade, if you like liquid/cream shadows by themselves or as bases.
