Aqua Reotier is a new skincare range by L’Occitane for the summer. The skincare collection focuses on lightweight hydration and fresh looking skin without the greasy feel. I tried out a few products from the collection and here are my quick thoughts. The Water Gel Cleanser ($24; usa.loccitane.com) is a gel cleanser that foams up pretty well and cleanses to a squeaky clean feel. It doesn’t dry my skin out and is a great second cleanser too. The Moisture Prep Essence ($24; usa.loccitane.com) is a light layer of moisturizing lotion/toner that boosts the hydration levels of the moisturizer. It feels just a tad sticky, but sinks in pretty quickly. The Ultra-Thirst Quenching Cream ($29; usa.loccitane.com) is fantastic for dry/combination skin that plumps and moisturizes really well. Its a gorgeous moisturizer for the summertime as well. The Ultra-Thirst Quenching Gel ($29; usa.loccitane.com) is a much lighter gel that would be great for combination skin. Its a refreshing one for the warmer weather and hydrates without the greasiness. Overall, a great range to try out for anyone with hydration issues - the Water Gel Cleanser and Ultra-Thirst Quenching Cream are especially fantastic.
