Spongelle’s Shimmer Body Souffle ($28; spongelle.com) is a heavenly scented, rich body butter with a bit of shimmer that moisturizes and adds glow without feeling greasy or heavy. It has a lovely souffle texture that melts onto the skin. I tried two fragrances from the line - Pearl Blossom and Brilliant Tuberose. Pearl Blossom is a sweet fragrance that you can’t go wrong with. Its a concoction of vanilla, tuberose and sweet clove that adds a bit of a spice to the otherwise sweet fragrance mix. Brilliant Tuberose is a fruity floral, a lighter mix of pear, sparkling grapefruit and white freesia. It is zesty, yet floral and makes for a perfect spring-summer scent. The shimmer in these, although not over the top, is still one that can’t be missed. If you like scented body care that adds a bit of glow and moisturizes, this line might be for you.
