Fabulous Finds Under $20

Fabulous Finds Under $20

Amie is a brand new to me and I love what I have tried from them so far. The Soft & Smooth Cleansing Balm ($6.99; target.com) is more of a cleansing cream than a balm and I like to use it with a warm washcloth to remove makeup. I also follow it up with a mild second cleanser as I always do with most balm/cream cleansers or cleansing oils. I like how it removed most makeup off, I did have to go over twice with waterproof mascara. It was gentle enough for my dry/sensitive skin. The Soft & Smooth Exfoliating Butter ($8.49; target.com) is a fabulous, mild physical exfoliant that I use once or twice a week. I did not find this to be very abrasive and is gentle enough for most skin types.

The Revlon So Fierce! Big Bad Lash Mascara With Lash Tint ($7.99; target.com) is a fabulous mascara that I’ve been absolutely loving for a full, fanned out lash effect. I have very stubby lashes and this one helps with volume and length with little separation. The brush is great for getting the tiniest of lashes and isn’t very clumpy even after a good two coats. It also washes off easily without needing an oil based remover.

The ColorStay Satin Ink Liquid Lipstick ($8.99; target.com) is another new launch from Revlon, a longwearing, slightly glossy lip formula that is packed with pigment. I tried two of the most pigmented reds from the line and they were quite easy to apply and did not move around too much. The formula does take a while to set and doesn't dry completely, so nudes would be a low maintenance option when compared to the deeper colors in this range. The shade selection is fabulous ranging from nudes to pinks to deep reds and wines.

Carol’s Daughter Wash Day Delight With Aloe Shampoo and Conditioner ($10.99 each; target.com) is a fresh smelling hair care duo for anyone with thick, frizzy or wavy hair that deep cleanses and also deeply nourishes after. The Sulfate-free shampoo leaves scalp squeaky clean and cleanses without stripping. The scent is super fresh and lingers on for a while after washing. The Conditioner is more of a deeply hydrating, jelly to cream mask that left my hair feeling very soft and naturally bouncy. I have fine, but frizzy hair and upon air drying found that my natural curls were more defined. Would absolutely recommend this line if you are looking for a naturally formulated shampoo/conditioner duo that helps you manage curls, frizz and locks in moisture.

OGX makes great haircare for every hair concern and their newest Keratin Smoothing Oil ($8.99; target.com) line is a good one for anyone with dry, damaged hair or if you tend to use heat styling often. The shampoo is gentle, yet foams up and cleanses really well without stripping. It's a thicker formula, so a little bit goes a really long way. The conditioner helps detangle and lightly moisturizes without weighing hair down. If you have very thick hair, you might have to use a little more than usual to detangle.

These C’est Moi Beauty Flushed Tinted Lip & Cheek Balms ($11.99; target.com) and Visionary Metallic Makeup Crayon Set ($20; target.com) are such fun and functional makeup products that I have been loving. The Lip & Cheek Balms give a sheer, natural flush of color on the cheeks. Since I have pretty dry lips, I prefer using them on my cheeks and they are super easy to blend with fingers. The Visionary Metallic Makeup Crayon Set is a four piece metallic crayon kit that works as eyeshadow or eyeliners. They do not budge once set and have to be blended out pretty quickly. I do wish they make more bronzes and neutrals in this line as the formula is really nice.
