The finish is Veluxe Pearl so it has a beautiful metallic sheen and blends very well. I usually use it all over the lid with black eyeliner on the waterline and some mascara for a super natural, daytime look. This versatile shade can be paired with a variety of darker shades for a more dramatic or a festive look too.
It perks up a dull face, adds a lot of warmth and doesn't look overly foiled like a lot of gold shades do. If you love warm gold shadows, I highly recommend Woodwinked. Even otherwise, it's a gorgeous shade to own. You'll love it as much as I do!
Have you tried Woodwinked? Do you like gold eye shadows? What is your favourite shade?
I always think it's odd that this is referred to as gold as it looks bronze-y beige, to me. But let me just say, it's SO flattering on you.
ReplyDeleteIt almost looks like Satin Taupe in the 1st pic. Looks great on u...nice shade

Lovely color for a natural, pretty look..... appears to be a warm bronze shade to me though.
ReplyDelete@Vijii - Thanks :) It does look bronze-y under certain lighting. Antique Gold does justice to the color though :D
ReplyDelete@Cynthia - Thanks! :) I thought so too. Satin Taupe is a gorgeous shade too :D
ReplyDelete@Harshleen - It is very natural. Very flattering on a lot of skin tones! You must try it sometime :D
ReplyDeleteI want it so bad...it is a gorgeous color :)
ReplyDeleteWoodwinked never looks golden on my skin tone.... It's always like a
ReplyDeleteChampagne'y beige. UD eyeshadow in toasted looks exactly like this one on me.
@Shivani - Is really is sooo beautiful! You must get it sometime :D Kinda like Indianwood paintpot.
ReplyDelete@Jan - Toasted is a beautiful shade. Maybe try layering this with a golden/bronzy base? That might help the color pop more? :)
ReplyDeleteyeah toasted and expensive pink are like my most used everyday shades..and UD shadows are SO buttery. Love 'em.
ReplyDeleteYeah but no time for layering etc in the morning..all i get is 7-10 mins tops :(
Yeah, UD shadows are really buttery but I wish some of them were just a teeny bit less shimmery for my liking. They even blend better than so many others out there :) I love Expensive Pink too :D
ReplyDeleteI have very few, if any, MAC eyeshadows from the permanent line. *sheepish smile
ReplyDeleteWoodwinked is a great color and very versatile too. Looks great on you.
Thanks Vonvon! It really is very versatile. It needs very less effort :D
ReplyDeleteGorgeous color and the last photograph is amazing :)
ReplyDelete@AyeDee - Thanks! So glad you like the shade :D
