ORLY Pin Up Summer 2011 Collection - Review, NOTD & Swatches

The Pin Up Collection is a summer release from Orly that carries four shades of neons, brights and glitter polishes. Va Va Voom - A Pink Neon Crème, Here Comes Trouble - A Sparkly Green, Coquette Cutie - A Coral Crème  and Bubbly Bombshell - A Purple Glitter.

Orly's description of both these shades are perfect. Va Va Voom, is a super bright, neon pink. Neons don't look particularly great against my skin tone. But, if you are a fan of neons, this is a stand out piece from the collection that you must try. This particular shade needs about 2 coats for opacity. Make sure to top it off with a glossy top coat since it dries to a semi-matte finish.

Here Comes Trouble is a green with a whole load of reflective glitter. Worn alone, it needs a good 3 coats to deposit a lot of glitter. I love layering it over a black or any dark nail polish for the glitter to show up better. That way, it makes removal an easy process too!

Layered over a black nail polish
Orly Nail Polishes in general, stay chip-free for about 4 days on me with a good top coat on. The brush size is perfect for my small nails and the gripper cap is the best part of the nail polish!

All Orly nail polishes are free of Formaldehyde, DBP & Toluene.

Price : $7.50
Availability : Ulta, Sally Beauty Supply & Orlybeauty.com.

Would you try anything from the Pin Up collection? Do you like bright nail polishes? I'd love to know!
